Google Scholar also searches well by title, author, publisher, and keyword especially – so if you prefer to search for articles in any of these fields, Google Scholar may be a great place to start! What makes Google Scholar useful and unique compared to a library database is its ability to search for articles outside of scholarly journals – such as articles that are Open Access, or ones that appear in institutional repositories (an example of an institutional repository is Scholarship Western).
